Labyrinth
UK/USA, 1986, 101 min., Color
After wishing her baby brother away, the Goblin King gives 16-year-old Sarah 13 hours to solve the labyrinth leading to his castle, and save him before he becomes a goblin forever. A young Jennifer Connelly plays opposite David Bowie as Sarah, an ALICE IN WONDERLAND meets THE WIZARD OF OZ's Dorothy type of heroine. Along the way, a crew of misfits join Sarah on her mission to defeat the Goblin King and save her baby brother.

In honor of the late, great, musical genius David Bowie, who wrote and composed the entire soundtrack for THE LABYRINTH along with starring in the film, the cult classic will play at the Festival during a special FREE outdoor screening at sundown (7:30 PM) on Family Day, Saturday, April 16 at Klyde Warren Park in the Dallas Arts District. In conjunction with the evening screening we'll be holding a David Bowie look-alike contest before the show, so channel your inner glam and come out dressed to impress!
