A Bad Idea Gone Wrong
USA, 2017, 85 min., Color

Have you ever done something you immediately regretted? Probably. Let's raise the stakes, have you ever done something with your best friend that was extremely illegal and then immediately regretted it, only it was too late, and now you’re locked in and it’s only a matter of time before you're caught? Then you'll hate this film.

Jason Headley's Fort Worth-shot feature debut about a hapless duo of wannabe robbers, Marlon (Matt Jones) and Leo (Will Rogers), trapped at the scene of the crime is a comedy of errors that recalls the tête-à-tête dialogue of a early Kevin Smith. As much fun as the two lead actors’ banter is, it’s the addition of up-and-comer Eleanor Pienta's Darcy to the dynamic that allows the film to really soar to hilarious heights.
